Focus
The Scholarship Ministry recognizes and supports higher
educational needs of Christ The King Church members. We
sponsor fundraising activities to offer financial
assistance to graduating high school seniors.
Annual Events…
High School and College workshop:
This event offers a variety of workshops focused on high
school and post-secondary education such as:
• Scholarships and community service
• Choosing the right college
• Financial Aid
Heritage Month:
Activities are provided to bring an awareness and
education of African American History. There is an
individual local/historical recognized for their
contributions to the African American community/culture.
Bowl-a-Thon:
This even is an annual fundraiser for the Marilynn
McVicker Scholarship. If you are interested in making a
donation or being part of our Annual Bowl-A-Thon please

Graduate Recognition:
This is a special program to celebrate and
recognize all Christ The King members who will be
graduating from high school or college.
