members and have not been baptized by immersion

will be scheduled for baptism.

Youth Membership

We believe that a young child can believe in Jesus

Christ and accept Him as Lord and Savior. It is our

goal, however, to give them a detailed understanding

of the Articles of Faith, with particular emphasis on

salvation and the sacraments of baptism and

communion before they participate in these particular

ordinances and become youth members of the church.

Youth ages 13-17:

One (1) Firm Foundation class is required for this

age group. Sessions will be held the one Saturday

per month at 9:00 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. (see schedule)

Children ages 8 - 12:

All children at this level can be recommended for

Baptism. In order to be baptized and participate in

communion every child must attend a series of lessons

prior to Baptism; the lessons will be given on the first

Sunday of each month during Youth Church. There

will be four lessons that will include:

• Salvation

• Baptism

• The Lord’s Supper

• The Importance of Church

When all session are completed, and the child verbalizes

acceptance of Jesus Christ as Savior, the child is then

eligible to be baptized and partake in communion.

Children in this age group with Christian experience

will also be required to complete the sessions to become

members.

Children ages 7 and under

Will not be recommended for Baptism at this level.

• Attend Children’s Church and Family Life Ministry

• Classes for age appropriate learning and activities.
